Our time in Greece on our Mythic Quests tour in May, 2004 was a wonderful experience due to Mike Ladwig's expert guidance. We especially enjoyed the well-planned, diverse itinerary that included a cruise through the Greek islands, a coach trip through the Peloponnese, and many magical days in Athens. We enjoyed Athens much more than we had expected to. Our hotel, in the Plaka district in Old Athens, was conveniently located so that we could walk to all of the historical sites. Because of Michael's intimate knowledge of Athens, he was able to lead us on the byways that average tourists never experience. The highlight of our trip was the final days that we spent on the island of Hydra, where the only transportation is on foot, or by donkey or water-taxi. We were able to experience Greece in a way that few Americans ever can.

"My husband and I spend three weeks in Greece with Mike Ladwig as our guide. Our trip was divided into three parts. One week consisted of memorable site seeing and day trips in and around Athens, seeing the Plaka, the Parthenon, Poseidon’s Temple at Cape Sounion, Athena's temple, etc., but what we enjoyed most was the fun at various local tavernas, where Mike's knowledgeable familiarity with local dances, foods and customs made these experiences so fun and special.

Another week was a seven day cruise, visiting six Greek Islands, again with Mike's daily input about the history, customs and important significance of each island, along with shopping tips.

The third week was a tour of classical sights of Greece with a local professional tour guide.

I cannot image a more complete experience of Greece, with as much enjoyment.
