A pilgrimage, a trek, a tour!

Wednesday 9th Sept: Arrive Glasgow airport. Train to Glasgow central, these trains run approx. every half an hour, taxi to Hotel.

Train to Oban, departs at 12:42 and arrives in Oban at 15:39. Overnight in Queens Hotel.

Friday 11th Sept: 10am ferry from Oban to Craignure on the isle of Mull. 11:15am bus from Craignure to Fionaphort. Ferry to Iona (this ferry runs at frequent intervals and takes approx. 5 mins). Overnight accommodation to be arranged by the group.

Saturday 12th Sept: Boat trip around Fingals Cave leaving from Iona at 9:45am returning to Iona, afternoon on Iona then ferry back to Fionaphort, The last bus from here back to Tobermory (changing at Craignure) is at 3:30pm, be sure not to miss it. Overnight in Mishnish hotel.

Sunday 13th Sept: 09:45 bus From Tobermory to Craignure. 13:00 ferry back to Oban, arrive in Oban at 13:40. Minibus pick up and transfer to Inverbeg Hotel. Overnight in Inverbeg Hotel.

Walk to Drymen. Minibus pick up at approx. 7pm outside Winnock Hotel. Transfer back to Inverbeg. Overnight in Inverbeg Hotel.

Tuesday 15th Sept: Minibus transfer at approx. 10:00am to Inveroran Hotel. Group has free day to walk around local hills. Overnight in Inveroran Hotel.

Wednesday 16th Sept: 8am start for group walk to Kingshouse and Glencoe. Minibus will transfer luggage to hotel. Overnight in Kingshouse hotel.

Thursday 17th Sept: Minibus transfer at approx. 10am to Fort William. Group sightseeing or day walk to the base of Ben Nevis. Overnight In Glenlochy Guesthouse and Guisachan Guesthouse.

Friday 18th Sept: Minibus transfer at approx. 10am from the Glenlochy Guesthouse to Drumnadrochit, Loch Ness. Sightseeing in Loch Ness museum and around Loch Ness. Overnight in Hotel.

Saturday 19th Sept: Minibus transfer at approx. 10am to Inverness. 3-4 hours sightseeing in Inverness. Rendezvous point and time TBA for transfer to Stirling, Overnight in King Robert Hotel.

Sunday 20th Sept: Day sightseeing in Stirling. Pick up time back at the hotel TBA for transfer to Edinburgh. Overnight in Hotel.

Pick up time back at the hotel TBA for transfer to Glasgow. Overnight in Hotel. Minibus leaves group here.

Tuesday 22nd Sept: Full day of shopping and sightseeing in Glasgow Overnight In Hotel.

Wednesday 23rd Sept: Taxi to Glasgow Central. Train to airport. Departure.

Included: round trip airfare from Newark, NJ, USA; transport as specified in minibus for 10 days with driver; accommodation and breakfast throughout except for September 11th; minibus and driver as specified; maps and route notes for walking days (services of guide included).
