The Mythic Quest Tour which you directed has been an inspiration for both of us, especially the itinerary you picked, which was excellent.

The gain in our spirituality, which we are still experiencing, will stay in our hearts and enhance  our future growth. Those experiences, which we lived fully, are still having their after effects, and each time they come afloat in our consciousness, we find ourselves in a state of bliss.

My wife and I have had the good fortune to go to both Greece and S. E. Asia with Michael.  Our trip to Greece was wonderful.  We went on the S.E. Asia trip primarily because of the people on the trip, without much in the way of expectations.  It was extraordinary (one knows an extraordinary trip, when one returns and it keeps getting better and better in memory). The food, the temples, the ruins, riding elephants, Bangkok tailoring adventures, the floating market, sea kayaking and innumerable images for the camera.

Let me describe one simple vignette from the trip.  We were in Yangon, the second day.  Because of an early start, I went running before dawn.  I noticed that the joggers all ran in the passing lane with their backs to the traffic.  That seemed a bit odd until I realized that one risked greater peril running on the sidewalks, given the darkness, the  pedestrians and the guy wires.  So I thought, "when in Rome....", turned my back to the traffic and ran into the gloom.  It was wonderful!  I had the most amazing sense of immortality, the passing vehicles neatly avoided me as I watched clouds of bats descend into the Jacaranda trees and flocks of crows lift off. 

Traveling with Michael is effortless.  From the moment you meet him at LAX or JFK, you simply settle back and enjoy the trip.  The arrangements are flawless, the guides are great, the itinerary is ideal and the pace is appropriate.  He delivers value, a spectacular experience, along with a raft of information about the countries, the cultures, the mythology, the food, the religions, helpful travel tips, suggestions and admonitions.  It is a shock when you return, the arrangements end and you have to fend for yourself!

Hopefully he will put together Greece II (Crete, Rhodes and Ithaca) or the slow boat through Russia or an Inca Expedition so that we can join him again."
